
Specialized Experience In:

Business Plans
・Review current Credit Union status with appropriate shareholders; such as Board Members, CEO, C-Level personnel, and select team members
・Present any opposed positions among the appropriate shareholders above
・Present current status against common future thoughts as expressed by industry experts
・Assist Credit Union in preparing a business plan outline indicating major thresholds & timelines

Budget Review & Preparation
・Assist CEO or their designated personnel in preparing a budget
・Review status of the current budget as it aligns with expected results
・Express rationale for any new budget changes in excess of 20% deviation from current budget

NCUA Examination Preparation
Act as point person between Credit Union and NCUA examiners, including:
・Accumulating, through designated personnel, all data requested by NCUA
・Submitting data to NCUA in a timely manner
・Bringing all NCUA questions to the attention of the CEO or his/her designated personnel
・Sitting in on “interim review” of NCUA’s initial report
・Suggesting appropriate responses to NCUA “findings” or “Documents of Resolution” (DOR)

Contract Review & Negotiations
・Provide guidance on any new potential vendor contracts
・Review all contracts currently in place
・Concentration is on cost, length of contract concerning Credit Union’s short and long-term goals, early and normal termination clauses, upgrade costs
・Establish contract tracking documentation
・Train appropriate personnel on how to use tracking systems
・Be available to personnel for any questions related to contract reviews

Benefits Review
・Work with current benefit providers to understand benefits currently offered to employees
・Send RFP (Request for Proposal) to at least 2 other benefit providers
・Provide overview of a Traditional Health Insurance Plan, Health Savings Plan, and Self-Insured Plan
